With the ceremony we can consider ourselves at the middle of the day more or less. But don’t worry, everything will be easier from here on!
At this point I would dedicate a “middle” article only to PORTRAITS. In the following lines I will explain what they consist of, how long they last and how not to be overwhelmed by shyness! Are you ready?
A typical wedding day pt.2 | Couple Portrait
I consider the moment of portraits a magical one. The newlyweds finally have a first moment to realize the big step they have just taken. it is an intimate, romantic and tender moment.
Many couples often say to me “but I’m shy! I don’t like to pose“. My approach to portraits is very discreet, I let them enjoy the moment.
I don’t like particularly poses, but of course some indications are necessary. This is because a kiss is not enough for the photo to succeed. We must study the environment and put faces in favor of light.
Usually in my weddings I carry out an inspection the day before, usually at the time when I imagine I want to make the portraits.
The study of the location is very important but it is not always possible to do it, so sometimes you have to rely on instinct.

This advices obviously does not apply only to portraits, but throughout the wedding day. Smile, don’t think about the small problems that you will inevitably have to face that day.
It is a unique day, and the main objective is to enjoy the company of friends and relatives. Celebrate and relax, the best is yet to come!
Well, these were some guidelines regarding portraits, in the next article we will continue our journey through the wedding day, we will examine the various steps of the reception, up to the cutting of the cake and the dances! Don’t miss it!
